Which is better technic and yogbox

I prefer Tekkit, because it has Galacticraft wich allows you to go to the Moon, Mars, and create your own space station. Other mods include AE Applied Energistics which adds a computer to the game that you can upgrade, and create recipes for that allow you to tell it to craft things.

It's like a HUGE chest in a few blocks. The more hard drives you add, the more space you have. Thermal Expansion adds a way to double your ores through pulverizing and smelting. Tekkit also adds Nether Ores. Nether Ores have a ton more stuff inside a single block. Most people don't know but if you pulverize Redstone Nether ore, it gives you 24 Redstone.

To me, it's worth to get nether ores. But the mod is based off of one thing And for one thing. It does NOT have any magical mods. Sign up to join this community. The best answers are voted up and rise to the top. Stack Overflow for Teams — Collaborate and share knowledge with a private group.

Thaumcraft also introduces the "Taint" - if you've ever played Terraria, the Corruption from that game is similar to the Taint in Thaumcraft. Oh and it has conveyor belts too. It arose around the same time as Craft Guide when Alexandria and a few others on the IRC suggested that I merge both Too Many Items and Recipe Book to remove their greatest flaws, ironically too many items, or in the case of recipe book, too many recipies.

Too Many Items was great, but the one thing it lacked was an easy way to search and sort your items. Even if you don't want to use NEI for cheating in items, you will likely feel right at home with the Recipe component of the mod. It makes the eight 'ores' - coal, diamond, gold, iron, lapis, redstone, sopper and tin - spawn in the nether so that you have a reason to go there. Well that ends now! Gone are all those broken bits and in their place are a ton of new tools to build your massive rail system.

If you ever cared about rails, you wont ever look back! Check out the thread above for a full list of all the features available with this mod.

It's called TubeStuff because I don't have a better name - feel free to suggest one. The buffer could also use a less generic name. The Assembly Line mod introduces you to conveyor belts, various item manipulation blocks and brings your machines together.

While pipes are easier to build with for item transportation, who in the world would stuff their valuables inside a tiny little pipes? If you like building realistic styled factories, designing complex contraptions with various machines, then the Assembly Line mod is for you! That's why we are here to bring in high tech nuclear power to solve all your electricity deficiency problems. With our fission reactors, fusion reactors, antimatter generators and thorium power, you won't be short of electricity ever again!

Note that this mod is still in alpha stage so documentation on items are not done properly. Blastcraft is a mod designed specifcaly to protect players from various types of explosions and those pesky creepers.

Having a hard time building defenses against griefing players, ICBM attacks and from creepers? Well this mod is for you! This mod will make Universal Electricity more complex and realistic. We try to make all aspects as realistic as possible, whether that means the items and block names or the processes and materials for each aspect of Electric Expansion. The mod adds various types of pipes as well as tank storage and pumps. Fluid Mechanics hopes to bring a diverse way for you to transport all types of liquid as well as to store them.

It is recommend to get a mod like Steam Power, RailCraft, Atomic Science, or other mods as a complementry to this mod. But the fun doesn't end there!

This mod also features many different explosives, missiles and machines classified in three different tiers. If strategic warfare, carefully coordinated airstrikes, messing with matter and general destruction are up your alley, then this mod is for you! Even better, it's open source. Please, I don't mean to start a fight of some sort here, but, does anyone think some of the names of the packs like Tech World and Magic World are bad names?

Personally, thats the one thing the Technic people are good at. I just don't think the names of those FTB packs are really creative. Ultimate I don't think is a bad name, and Mindcrack and Direwolf make since for their packs, but Magic World and Tech World are kind of forgotten about by a lot of people because they play on Ultimate, Mindcrack, and Direwolf because you get both types of mods.

But, if they had more appealing names, people may fell more interested. Neko New Member. Jul 29, 12 0 0.
