I am hopeful that there is a way to use ordinary polish to stamp, if not, Konad polish here I come! Thanks for visiting and leaving me a comment. Yes, pigmented, metallic polishes like China Glaze Millennium work extremely well for stamping.
And if you want to stamp with a non-metallic polish, I heard that some of the Sally Hansen Insta-Dri polishes work well — Whirlwind White and the black one. You just have to make sure that whatever non-special-polish you use, it is opaque in one coat and is on the thick side. Hi Mary, I am still waiting on my Konad Stamping kit. I ordered it directly from Konad www.
On there you are able to make up your own nail stamping kit. You can choose the kit size you want small, medium, large basically and each one comes with the special nail polish you can choose the colours you want , image plates you can choose the plates you want , the stamper and scraper. The number of nail polishes and image plates varies depending on what kit size you choose. I just hope that I am as good at it as you are!
Please take photos of your first few tries. And feel free to post them on my Facebook wall! I ordered it directly from Konad. On there you are able to make customized kits with polishes, image plates, a scraper and stamper.

Neha di!! And I personally like glitter top coats. A hunterwali can solve any and all disputes. OMG where did you get the art deco nail polish? Ya me too had the same problem neha , try applying Bajaj Almond drops oil..
It is a good vitamin nourisher for Nails. Neha… its beautiful :jaiho:! I like, try gold base and black on top. Pretty nail art Neha :teddy: :teddy: :teddy: I saw fake Konad plates in the market here and you wont believe the price.. Konad is just perfect for people like me who want crisp nail art in seconds  without hard work.
Again, the plates need to be chosen and purchased separately, rupees for each, the special polish for each for 5 ml too has to be there and a basic stamp and scraper. I would also recommend a basic four colors of special polishes in silver, red, white and black or may be gold and dark blue too to start with.
For a base color, go for any dark color or light color to create a contrast. Also, having a basic nail base coat and a light and thin top coat also helps to keep things neat and easier to remove later, especially the dark base colors. I found out that this shade in Lakme, which is a deep silver grey works even better than the Konad special polish and the Avon Simply Pretty one in black.
I think is a must-have for anyone who likes nail polishes with or without nail art. For konad, I prefer plates with large images that cover the entire nails. If your nail bed is small, go for the small designs like fruits and hearts, etc. Apply base coat and then paint your nails a neat opaque black or a base color of choice, dry thoroughly. Apply this particular Lakme polish for a silver design on the design of your choice on the image plate.
I am using the chequered one on plate M Scrape off the polish from the image plate with the help of the scraper given with the kit and try to immediately clean up on a tissue, keep one at the base of the plate. Use the stamp with a gentle yet firm rolling and pressing motion to pick the design up on the stamp surface. Depending on the design, use the broader or the smaller side of the double-ended stamp.
